Will my future plans work after college?

so i am a senior in high school right now. i am going to rutgers university in new brunswick and majoring in economics next year. after college i was thinking about going to part time grad-school at fordham in the bronx to get my MBA in finance. while im at part time student, i plan on living in an apartment in manhattan with a bunch of friends. the reason i wanna be a part time student is due to financial reasons so part-time is a lot cheaper. i plan on having a part time job (preferably as a waiter because they make good tips). will these plans work? my parents told me they will pay for my college and part time grad school. i just need my own money in paying rent and bills. thanks :)
